SOC 2 (System and Organization Controls) examinations were  designed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants  (AICPA) to assist organizations of any size, regardless of industry and  scope, by ensuring the personal assets of their potential and existing  customers are protected. Our testing is based on the defined principles  and criteria published by the AICPA and is performed by experienced  assessors. Your report must cover the common criteria of Security but  can also cover additional Trust Service Criteria such as Availability,  Processing Integrity, Confidentiality, and Privacy.

 A SOC readiness assessment will help you identify gaps in  controls and provide advice on how to close them.

After gaining a greater understanding of your operations and  processes, we’ll determine the appropriate control objectives. We’ll  research your existing documentation, determine testing necessary to  verify control effectiveness and conduct a “dry run.” This is a  preliminary test that will let you know whether or not you are ready for  a SOC examination. Most organizations will need to firm up some  controls before the actual examination period. We’ll work with you to  make sure the proper steps are taken so you’ll be ready when the actual  engagement begins.
